Brief introduction of four drying methods of ink

first, osmotic drying

this kind of drying mainly depends on the absorption of paper and the penetration of ink. The mechanism can be explained as follows: because the paper is made of fibers intertwined into porous, it will cause the sensor or fixture material to be damaged, and the aperture is very small. When the ink is transferred to the paper, due to the capillary effect of the paper fiber gap, it begins to absorb the binder in the ink. In the absorption process, the composition and rheological properties of the ink gradually change, the liquid composition of the ink gradually decreases, the cohesion of pigment particles gradually increases, and the ink gradually loses its fluid properties and presents a solid form

II. Oxidation conjunctiva drying

The mechanism is that the dry vegetable oil in the ink contains unsaturated double bonds, and the polymer film is synthesized by peroxide bridging. When the antioxidant is destroyed, the dry vegetable oil absorbs oxygen to make the methylene adjacent to the double bond react with oxygen to produce hydrogen peroxide. Because the peroxide of hydrogen is very unstable, it will be separated into two free radicals under light, one of which is carboxyl oh. Because the chemical properties of free radicals are very active, when they go to but more penetrate into high-end products to attack another oil molecule, they produce a new free radical, and the original free radical will produce stable compounds. From this, small molecules of oil will polymerize into macromolecules until there is no double bond. The ink becomes a polymer like dry solid film

III. volatilization drying
